These essays were written during the 2007 City Council campaign. They were intended to be provocative and to spark conversations with the candidates on these issues. They are based on the author's experiences starting in the early 1990's.
Note: These essays are marked "Draft" because they haven't received my normal editing and polish. This takes place only after I have identified where such writings would be published (for example, a newspaper column).
